About
Plum is a garden fruit with smooth skin, juicy flesh and a stone inside. Depending on the cultivar the fruit may be dark blue, purple, yellow or greenish.
In the kitchen
Plums taste gently sweet-tart. They are eaten fresh, cooked into jam and other preserves, used in drinks and desserts, and added to baking and sauces.
